Rotorcraft Report: HeliSAS TSO Issued

Cobham Avionics of Mineral Wells, Texas has obtained an FAA technical standard order (TSO) for its HeliSAS stability augmentation system and autopilot. The TSO approves the system components of HeliSAS. Cobham already has a supplemental type certificate to install HeliSAS on the Robinson R44, and is seeking STCs for the Bell 206/407, Bell-constructed U.S. Navy TH-57 and Eurocopter AS350.
