P&WC Obtains EC175 Engine Approval

Transport Canada has issued a type certificate for Pratt & Whitney Canada's PT6C-67E, which powers the Eurocopter EC175. With the approval, P&WC is now able to start production of the engines. The PT6C-67E is the newest model of the PT6 line of turboprop and turboshaft engines. The manufacturer is also prepping for its first PT6C-67E delivery on an EC175.
