Bell-Boeing Obtains V-22 Engineering Contract
The U.S. Navy has granted Bell-Boeing's Joint Project Office a $22.2-million contract for non-reoccurring engineering with the CV-22 Osprey’s Block 20 upgrades. The work will center on the beyond line of sight communications system and includes the design and testing of an improved Air Force CV-22 communication system. The system is designed for trans-oceanic air traffic control and tactical communications. The agreement runs through December 2015.
