ASU Regains Its Part 145 Certificate

Aviation Specialties Unlimited has regained its FAA Part 145 repair station certificate. The FAA issued the certificate May 30, according to the company. Rotor & Wing reports in its June 2008 issue, which went to press May 21, that the FAA had revoked the certificate of the Boise, Idaho-based provider of night-vision system installations and training. The revocation was a result of an investigation into discrepancies between some night-vision installations and the ASU-submitted paperwork governing them.
