Monica McIntyre has received the Helicopter Assn. International’s MD Helicopter Law Enforcement award. Recently retired, McIntyre was the nation’s first female law enforcement pilot. She flew in Lakewood, Calif. as a Sky Knight pilot for the Sheriff’s Dept. for 25 years.
Glen Cornett has received the Helicopter Maintenance Award from HAI. Cornett graduated from Spartan School of Aeronautics and received his license in 1964. As director of maintenance for PHI, Inc. he oversees the maintenance program for PHI worldwide.
Gail Delaney (right) has been promoted from assistant controller to vice president, controller at ITT Night Vision in Roanoke, Va. Mike Alvis (right) has been appointed vice president, programs. Alvis joined ITT in 2004 as the director of value-based leadership development at ITT’s Defense headquarters in McLean, Va.
Sean Bond has been named president of BAE Systems’ Platform Solutions business, based in Johnson City, N.Y. Platform Solutions employs 6,000 employees at 11 locations in the United States and United Kingdom.
James Newby has joined the team at Heads Up Technologies as director of engineering. Newby holds a masters of science in electrical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
