French Escapee Recaptured

Juliano Verbard and two fellow prisoners escaped, last month, in a helicopter hijacked by accomplices from the French Indian Ocean island of Reunion. French police raided a building yesterday in Saint-Denis, less than a mile from the prison from which they escaped. Five of Verbard's accomplices, including three who hijacked the helicopter, were captured in the raid, which was broadcast live on television. For related news
