Warning--heavy duty stuff

As Schweizer's report from Farnborough, I would like to enclose the attached photo to show the steps we had to take to keep the hoards away from our Schweizer 300CBi. We had a small stand and felt quite tiny compared to the "big boys" but with at least two sales linked to the show we felt the five days were very worth-while and good fun.

Ed Notes: We at Rotor & Wing wanted to end the year with just a touch of humor, and felt Steve Angel-Jones rather tongue-in-cheek photo of two British police officers keeping "The Hoards" away from the helicopter during the Farnborough Air Show might do it. In the name of honest journalism, we have to admit that the photo was posed, with two police officers who just happened to be walking past.

However, it is true that Schweizer has had a very successful year, concluding with its merger with one of the great giants of the industry. Now they really will have to have protection against the Gauls at next year's 46th Salon International de l'aeronautique et de l'espace at Le Bourget (June 13-19--mark your calendars)
