Baltimore’s Pier 7 Heliport Installs AWOS
Meteorological sensor and system manufacturer, Belfort Instrument, has completed the installation of its DigiWx automated weather observation system (AWOS) at Pier 7 Heliport in Baltimore, Md. The AWOS measures dew point, humidity, temperature and wind speed, as well as providing information on cloud height, visibility and wind direction. Pier 7 Heliport is a public-use heliport with six landing pads.
