STAR Flight EC145s Airlift Flood Victims

Using its three Eurocopter EC145s, Austin/Travis County STAR Flight rescued 13 people from floods related to Tropical Storm Hermine on Sept. 8. Director of Operations Will Culberson notes that high winds and heavy rains prevailed during most of the SAR mission. The effort marks the largest STAR Flight rescue operation involving the EC145s.
