New Helipad in Chicago

According to a plan approved by the Illinois Department of Transportation, the helipad will rest atop of the new Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago. The hospital will be 22 stories tall and is in a highly populated area with many very tall buildings, which is the reason why the decision was so controversial. Residents felt that the element of danger is too severe, but the DOT has overridden those fears. For related news
