MD600N Floats Receive EASA Approval
Apical Industries, a subsidiary of Oceanside, Calif.-based DART Helicopter Services, has won EASA certification for its emergency float system on the MD600N. The FAA-approved system contains four emergency floats that attach to the skid gear, a float inflation reservoir mounted under the fuselage, and a cyclic-mounted inflation handle.
