Hiroshima Orders AW139
AgustaWestland and Mitsui Bussan have signed with the Hiroshima Prefecture of Japan for an AW139 medium twin. The helicopter will fly disaster relief and firefighting missions for the Prefecture’s Disaster Relief Department. AgustaWestland previously sold two AW139s to the Japanese government in the past year, and expects this newest sale to enter service in 2012.
