Columbia Creates Fire Ops Post

Portland, Ore.-based Columbia Helicopters has appointed Command Pilot Keith Saylor to a brand new position, Fire Operations Manager. The post was created in response to Columbia’s heavy focus on aerial firefighting. Saylor serves as a liaison between the company and fire incident commanders. The company’s firefighting fleet includes three Vertol 107-II helicopters, which it says can be en route to an assignment within 15 minutes of receiving a call for service. For further information
