Peru Receives First Eurocopter EC145
Eurocopter has handed over the first of four EC145s to the National Police of Peru, as the country's Interior Ministry looks to modernize its public security aircraft fleet. Delivery was completed less than one year after the contract was signed, the manufacturer notes, adding to the Eurocopter Peruvian fleet, which has tripled in recent years. Peru also intends to use the EC145s in disaster relief missions. The remaining three helicopters are scheduled for delivery before the end of the year.
