Spanish Agency Buys EC225 for SAR

The Spanish Maritime Safety Agency (SASEMAR) has ordered a Eurocopter EC225 to support search and rescue (SAR) and pollution control operations. The EC225 is part of SASEMAR’s national plan that focuses on large helicopter air support for the Canary Islands and the southern portion of the Bay of Biscay. The helicopter will replace a Sikorsky S-61N.
