Europe Receives First EMS-Ready Bell 429

Bell Helicopter has delivered the first Bell 429 equipped for emergency medical services to a European operator. Air Zermatt in Switzerland will use the helicopter to perform rescues in the Alps, where the light twin-engine turbine recently demonstrated a landing on the top of 14,690-ft. Matterhorn Mountain. Air Zermatt currently operates a fleet that includes the Eurocopter AS350B, EC135 and SA315B Lama.
