Industry Recognizes Bristow Target Zero Employees
Bristow Group employees have collected various industry awards in recent weeks. FAA has given Tom Monroe, chief inspector for Bristow's Repair Station, its Charles Taylor award for Monroe's lifetime achievements as an aviation mechanic. Helicopter Association International named Capt. Jay Slagle, who serves in Bristow's North American unit, as Pilot of the Year during the Salute to Excellence awards program at Heli-Expo in February. Other Heli-Expo awards include for Lifetime Safety to John Wilson, engineering manager in Bristow's European unit, and Todd Smith, general manager of Bristow Academy, who was named Rolls-Royce Mechanic of the Year. Bristow flight operations head Tim Glasspool was also recently appointed to Step Change in Safety's Helicopter Safety Steering Group.
