Timken Supplies Army with Gearboxes

Manchester, Conn.-based Timken Aerospace Transmissions has won a $16.9-million contract from the Defense Logistics Agency's Aviation division at Redstone Arsenal to supply tail rotor gearboxes for U.S. Army helicopters. Timken’s Manchester base will oversee the work. The Army has set a completion date of August 2017.
