Lockheed Tabbed for MH-60 Software
The U.S. Navy’s MH-60R and MH-60S helicopters are set to receive a software upgrade under a new Lockheed Martin contract. The $10-million agreement involves Lockheed developing an MH-60 software module configured to the Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS). Work will take place over the next two-and-a-half years at Lockheed Martin’s facility in Owego, N.Y., with testing scheduled at Naval air stations in Point Mugu, Calif. and Patuxent River, Md.
