FDC/aerofilter Gains EC135 Cert
El Dorado Hills, Calif.-based FDC/aerofilter has secured an FAA supplemental type certificate (STC) for its engine inlet barrier filter (IBF) on the Eurocopter EC135. The filter maintains the air intake flow for the helicopter. FDC/aerofilter also offers certified filters on various model, including the Bell 206/407, Eurocopter AS350 and EC120/130, MD 500/600 and Sikorsky S-76 lines. (From June 2010 Rotorcraft Report)
