Airwolf Supplies Robinson Blade Fix
In response to an FAA-mandated Airworthiness Directive issued in June for Robinson helicopters, Airwolf Aerospace of Middlefield, Ohio has developed a supplemental type certificate (STC) for rotor blade tape kits on the R22 and R44. The tape protects against rotor blade skin delamination and debonding. The polymer tape bonds to the main rotor blades and protects the paint finish, which deters leading-edge skin debonding.
