WestWind Wins Navy Seahawk Contract
Huntsville, Ala.-based WestWind Technologies has inked a $4.6-million deal with the U.S. Navy to modify its combat serch and rescue (CSAR) fleet of Sikorsky HH-60H Seahawks. Under the deal, WestWind will install cockpit upgrades for 35 helicopters over the three years. The company will also provide embedded global positioning/inertial navigation systems (EGI) for installation and training.
