True Blue Backs Up EC135, EC145T2

Mid-Continent Instruments subsidiary True Blue Power has struck an agreement with Eurocopter to supply its MD835 emergency power supply (EPS) for the EC135 and EC145T2, which was announced during Heli-Expo earlier this year. The MD835 features Nanophosphate lithium-ion chemistry from A123 Systems. Mid-Continent is pursuing certification of the unit for aftermarket installations on a variety of helicopter platforms.
