L-3 Outfits Apaches with Enhanced Displays
New York, N.Y.-based L-3 Communications has been tapped by Lockheed Martin to provide the U.S. Army’s fleet of Boeing AH-64D Apaches. The new 5-x-5-inch displays are in color and will replace the Apaches’ monochromatic target acquisition and night vision sensor displays. L-3 Display Systems in Alpharetta, Ga., will oversee the design and development of the displays.
