H-60, S-70i to Employ L-3 Aviation Products GH-3001, Stormscope

Sikorsky Aircraft has elected to offer the L-3 Aviation Products GH-3001 electronic standby instrument system (ESIS), Stormscope WX-500 lightning detection system and PS-855 emergency power supply (EPS) on the H-60 and S-70i platforms. The five-year agreement runs through 2017. According to L-3, the purchase represents the largest single order for its GH, Stormscope and power supply series of products. The military-designed GH-3001 is compatible with night vision goggles (NVGs).
