Elisra Introduces Helo Protection Suite
A new active and passive self-protection suite for helicopters is available from Elisra. The system includes a RF-laser-EO protection shell for rotorcraft. It combines RWR, LWR, IR-PAWS, RF jammer, laser DIRCM and cheff/flare dispensing functions. The suite is designed to protect against missiles, man-portable air defense systems (MANPADS), ground-based fire and rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs).
