Georgia State Patrol Orders Bell 429 at ALEA

Bell Helicopter has signed a purchase agreement with Georgia State Patrol for a Bell 429 at the Airborne Law Enforcement Association (ALEA) exposition in Phoenix, Ariz. The Georgia State Patrol Aviation Division currently has a fleet of six Bell 407s, one Bell 206, five Bell OH-58s and one Cessna 182 airplane, with a total of six field hangars. The aircraft will be used for a variety of law enforcement missions, including surveillance, search and rescue and support of ground personnel.
