Strakes-and-Fin Maker Picks Canadian Distributor

BLR Aerospace has named Airborne Engines to sell its performance-enhancing system of dual tailboom strakes and the FastFin vertical stabilizer. Everett, Wash.-based BLR offers the FAA-certified strakes and fin for a variety of Bell Helicopter aircraft. The modifications permit operators to lift more and achieve better hot and high performance, and also improve stability. According to BLR, more than 600 aircraft have flown more than 1 million flight hours with the BLR mods. Airborne Engines is based in Richmond, British Columbia. For related news
