Microwave Radio Communications has appointed Bob Otten director of business development for the U.S. government market.

Silver State Helicopters has named David Oglesbee as vice president of special operations. He formerly was vice president of sales for MD Helicopters. Silver State also named Randy Rowles vice president of special programs and Lisa Gunter fleet manager.

Phil Scott, will be director of marketing for Telegenix, Inc.

AcroHeliPro has appointed Phil Kemp vice president of sales.

Steven A. Sanders will serve on the board of directors of Helijet International Inc.

Diana Groffen has joined SkyTrac Systems Ltd. as its sales and marketing manager.

Marwan Lahoud has become the chief strategy and marketing officer for EADS.

Gordon Pratt, formerly president of Chelton Flight Systems, has been promoted to vice president of business development for Cobham Avionics, Chelton’s parent company.

The Assn. of the United States Army has appointed Michael Scanlon as director of industry affairs.

Kimball Electronics Group has appointed Kevin Stokes to vice-president, Global Technical Services.

Mary Feik has won the National Aeronautic Assn.’s 2006 Frank G. Brewer Trophy for significant contributions to aerospace education in the United States.

Sgt. David Standbridge, a winchman with the 202 Sqdn based in Leconfield, United Kingdom, was awarded the Billy Deacon SAR Memorial Trophy by Prince Phillip at St. James Palace in May.
