Fourth Prototype to Join Bell 429 Tests

The aircraft, the second pre-production version of the light twin, is being prepped for flight tests at Bell's Mirabel, Quebec facility. It spent June in Texas undergoing full-scale fuselage shake tests, the first with a production version of an aircraft in development by Bell. Those tests were intended to validate Bell analytical models. The aircraft is to start flight tests next week or two. For related news
