Report: FAA Fingers Helicopter for Tire Drop

The FAA has determined that a tire from a landscaper’s helicopter is what crashed through the roof of a home just east of Atlanta, according to the Associated Press. The agency traced the tire that damaged the Monroe, Ga. home to a helicopter owned by Forever Green Landscaping of Loganville, Ga., the news service said. It said the wheel was from ground-handling equipment and should have been removed before flight.
