Rotorcraft Report: Barbara Robinson Passes Away

IN MEMORIAM

Robinson Helicopter Company’s Barbara Robinson, former vice president and wife of founder Frank Robinson, died on August 13 following a 12-year battle with breast cancer. She was 53. A pilot and Whirly-Girl #385, Barbara Robinson began working for the Torrance, Calif.-based helicopter manufacturer in 1978. She played a key role in the company until 1995, including developing Robinson’s worldwide dealer network. Survivors include her husband and two children, Mark and Cindy.
