Safran to Supply Engine Mods for Brazilian Army

Safran Engineering's first standalone Brazilian engineering contract comes in the form of modifications for a fleet of Helibras-built helicopters for the Brazilian Army. The company will serve as the design authority for the installation of avionics, communications and navigation systems for 34 Esquilo and Fennec multi-purpose helicopters. The modifications will include a new glass cockpit system and the integration of an autopilot system.
