Sikorsky Superhawl to Tour Europe

The manufacturer said at the Farnborough Air Show it plans to take its militarized variant of the S-92, dubbed the H-92 Superhawk, to at least nine European countries during the next several weeks to demonstrate its mission capabilities. This is the military version Sikorsky has proposed since it launched the S-92 program. The search-and-rescue equipped Superhawk is to tour the United Kingdom, then Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Poland and Romania. The S-92 "is currently being used to perform troop transport, combat search and rescue, medical evacuation and head-of-state missions around the world, and we are excited to be bringing this demonstrator to the European region to offer a true glimpse of this helicopter’s functionality and features,” said Bruce McKinney, vice president of Sikorsky Europe.
