Bell Inks 'New Metal' OH-58D Contract
The U.S. Army has issued a contract to Bell Helicopter for engineering services and a "new metal" OH-58D cabin. The agreement, part of the Wartime Replacement Aircraft Cabin program, covers airframe age, attrition and non-recurring engineering. Instead of converting A-model cabins into D-model cabins, Bell is now providing new metal cabins for the OH-58D.
