AW119 Production to Begin in India
Italian helicopter manufacturer AgustaWestland and Indian firm Tata Sons Ltd have agreed to build the single-engine AW119 helicopter in India. The facility will supply the Indian military with a reconnaissance and surveillance variant with deliveries projected to begin in 2011. Mumbai-based Tata will allegedly own 74 percent of the joint venture. For related news
