Netherlands CH-47F Makes First Flight

Boeing, program suppliers and the Netherlands Ministry of Defence celebrated the initial flight of the Royal Netherlands Air Force CH-47F Chinook during a Jan. 25 ceremony at Summit Aviation in Middletown, Del. The helicopter went airborne for the first time on Dec. 8, and will undergo around 100 hours of flight tests through August. Boeing will use two prototypes in the flight test program.
