National Guard Helo Base Opens in Minnesota

The Minnesota National Guard has a new helicopter base. The $37.2 million, 140,000 square foot aviation support facility is located on 52 acres at St. Cloud Regional Airport. It will serve as a maintenance depot for the Guard’s Black Hawk and Chinook helicopters fleet. The opening of the facility will also be a boost to the local economy because it will employ 60 civilians from the community. For additional information
