EU's New Project

The European Union is developing a new heavy-lift helo to replace its CH-53 Sea Stallions and may work on the project with the U.S. The EU has been short on helicopters since the beginning of the War on Terror and has been employing international help to fill the gap. With this new project, the European Defense Agency is asking other EU countries to join France and Germany in acquiring more heavy-lift helicopters. France and Germany have already requested 100 new heavy lifts, but in order to keep costs down, the EDA is asking other nations to ante up. For related news
