Colombia Will Buy UH-60L
The government of Colombia will acquire 15 Sikorsky UH-60L Black Hawks from the U.S. Army. The $225 million transaction is a foreign military sale and includes spares, support and training. Colombia intends to use the helicopters to fight drug trafficking and for national defense. Black Hawks are already flown by the Colombian government as well as 26 other countries in areas such as combat assault and peacekeeping to disaster relief and medical evacuation. For related news
