The Trinidad and Tobago Air Guard was established in 2005, and its AW139 helicopters were delivered in 2011. AgustaWestland led a consortium to manage the program, with training services to be supplied in Italy, the UK and the USA. AgustaWestland has provided a dedicated, in-country a team to manage customer support, training, and logistics as part of a five-year contract that runs through 2015. As of November 2014, the Air Guard has flown over 5,000 hours and has been instrumental in aiding in security during high-profile events and conducting operational sorties in a variety of mission profiles.
