DTI Supplies Afghan Mi-17 Training
Huntsville, Ala.-based Defense Technology, Inc. (DTI) has completed a Mil Mi-17 maintenance training program for the Afghan Air Force. More than 30 soldiers received training under the direction of the U.S. Air Force 440th Air Expeditionary Squadron, including instruction focused on OEM maintenance and troubleshooting. According to the commander of the Afghan Aviation Maintenance Group, it was the first OEM-type training that many of the soldiers have received in 20 years.
