Army Extends CH-47F Mods Deal
Boeing has won a $23.7-million U.S. Army contract to continue initial production fielding support modifications on 49 CH-47F Chinooks. The extension runs through April 2012. The CH-47Fs are being modified at Boeing’s Modification Center in Millville, N.J., where the manufacturer plans to install new avionics and perform airframe alterations.
