Special Ops Chinooks Get Honeywell Zing
Honeywell has finished modifications to the U.S. Army’s 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR) fleet of Boeing MH-47G Chinooks. Honeywell equipped the Chinook fleet with its Zing health and usage monitoring system (HUMS), which collects maintenance data on mission-critical parts using a series of sensors.
