MH-60 Romeo Woos Australian Navy

The Australian Defence Force has inked an agreement with the U.S. Navy for 24 Sikorsky MH-60R Seahawks under the U.S. government’s foreign military sales program. The helicopters are part of Australia’s Air 9000 Phase 8 requirement. The agreement—which includes maintenance and logistics support—calls for handover of the first two helicopters to the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) in 2014.
