The board of directors of AgustaWestland has appointed Bruno Spagnolini (L) as CEO. He succeeds Giuseppe Orsi, who has taken over as CEO of parent company Finmeccanica. Spagnolini has served as chief operating officer since 2007, and was previously CEO of Agusta S.p.A. The board also named Giorgio Brazzelli, the former chairman of Alenia Aermacchi and Alenia Aeronautica, as its new chairman. Brazzelli will continue to serve on the board of directors.

American Eurocopter has hired Peter Cutler as vice president of military and federal government programs. He will be tasked with the U.S. Army Light Utility Helicopter program, Armed Aerial Scout efforts and federal program growth. Cutler comes to American Eurocopter after 24 years with Sikorsky Aircraft, where he led he product support. He has previously worked with Lockheed Martin and Allied Signal/Bendix.

Esterline CMC Electronics has appointed Claude Chidiac as vice president of customer support and strategic development. He was previously vice president of business development at Arizona-based StandardAero.

Grand Prairie, Texas-based Uniflight recently named David Horton as general manager for its Texas operations. He will direct daily operations, strategic planning and implementation. Horton was previously the president and general manager of Schweizer Aircraft in Horseheads, N.Y.

EADS North America has selected Michael Cosentino as senior vice president and head of strategy and development. Consentino will oversee EADS’ growth strategy, mergers, acquisitions and business development. Consentino has previously worked as general manager for Global Military Aircraft Systems, as well as CEO of AgustaWestland Bell, the joint venture that produced the Marine One Presidential helicopter.

Rick Wrenn has joined Orlando, Fla.-based DiSTI Corporation as program manager. Wrenn was previously the program manager at Unitech (acquired by Lockheed Martin in 2009), following his retirement from the U.S. Marine Corps.

Jet Support Services, Inc. (JSSI) has promoted Haydee Ramirez to director of business development for Africa. Ramirez came onboard with JSSI in 2008 as an international sales assistant.

St. Louis, Mo.-based Beckwood Press Company has named Josh Schroeder as operations manager. He was previously Beckwood’s manufacturing manager and has 18 years of experience with industrial manufacturing.
