X-2 Chalks Up Another Successful Test Run
Sikorsky’s X-2 experimental aircraft successfully completed the first test of its pusher prop on Feb. 2. The aircraft, which uses a counter-rotating rotor system for lift, first flew in 2008, but the high-tech pusher prop was not engaged. If the X-2 demonstrator lives up to expectations, it will be able to cruise at 250 knots. For data and diagrams
