Korea Forest Service Opens Ka-32 Maintenance Center
The Korea Forest Service has a new service and maintenance center for its fleet of Ka-32 helicopters. Russian Helicopters participated in the opening of the center, looking to promote the use of the Ka-32 in the Asia Pacific region. Alexander Miheev, CEO of Russian Helicopters, calls East Asia a "key region for our industry." Korea's Forest Service uses the Ka-32 for forest surveillance and aerial firefighting.
