IDGC, Russian Helicopters Pair

Russian Helicopters’ Ka-226Ts will patrol IDGC’s massive electrical grids in Russia.  Russian Helicopters

Russian Helicopters has reached an agreement with IDGC Holdings to upgrade and expand the utility provider’s current fleet of Ka-226Ts that are used for electricity grid air patrols. IDGC maintains more than two million kilometers (1.24 million miles) of power lines throughout the country. The newly upgraded fleet will allow IDGC to quickly dispatch engineers to remote locations to conduct line repairs.
