Bill to Hunt from Helicopters Passes
With a statewide increase in the number of wild feral hogs in Oklahoma, the state senate passed a bill authorizing the hunting of the huge, destructive animals from helicopters. Proponents of the bill say the herds of wild hogs - any one of which can weigh hundreds of pounds - devastate property, crops and can even attack people. Other states, including Alaska and neighboring Texas, have also entertained bills to hunt feral hogs from helicopters. Oklahoma’s bill passed by a 37-9 margin. See how it’s done
